Right now (2024) I'm on a mission to the Arcadia California Mission. I grew up in Arcadia
It's a remarkable experience to shift into reverse and see all the changes! At least I remember
the names of the streets!
My parents, Harry and Grace Robinson, poured love into me -- sometimes with a fire hose and
sometimes with an eyedropper. They gave me many chances to test my wings while protecting
me from harm. They applauded when I soared and rocked me when I fell.
At BYU I received my M.A. in Music Ed and taught in the public schools in Sacramento, Irvine and
West Bend, WI. I married Mike Greenfield and became an instant stepmom of five children.
They don't treat me like the Wicked Stepmother in Fairy Tales for which I am grateful.
After my husband died in 2010, I went on a Family Search mission to New York. Thereafter, I
moved to Logan, Utah which I now call home. There I served a local mission in West Bend where I
helped people get jobs at the LDS Employment Center for three and a half years. What fun and
fulfillment it was to see them progress!
A mission is always a surprising trek! Initially, it's been difficult to understand my purpose.
In time, it is revealed (day by day) who I can connect with and offer my love and service. Surely, the
Lord watches over His missionaries and provides for our every need. I'm trying to learn Spanish (YIKES!)and learn from the hearts of the Buena Vista Branch members who offer their love so freely.
What a joy to serve the Lord and His children! Sister Greenfield
Sister Charlotte Wright. "I was married to my Wally for 52 years. He passed away in March 2023. We had 4 great kids, one girl, 3 boys and then 15 grandchildren. They all live in Utah. (Except for a grandson on a mission in Africa.) My home is in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. I enjoy thinking outside the box. I LOVE painting and the palette knife is my tool of choice. I have been doing many paint nights here on my mission. I love antiques; therefore, I wanted to combine that love with my art. One answer - to 'frame' my paintings in antique drawers (many from Europe). Or, I may find an antique frame, or an old brick mold, or an OLD window frame. Who knows! They speak to me! I get giddy thinking about it. This is such a fun journey.
