Allison Menlove - Monrovia Ward

Hi! My name is Allison Menlove and I am a senior at Monrovia High school. Next year I will be
attending BYUI, however my major is still undeclared. I love listening and playing music, theater,
hanging out with friends and just living life to the fullest. For those who don't know me I am the
oldest out of all my 2 siblings and the oldest out of 20 cousins. It is always a ton of fun however,
sometimes it can be challenging. I used to play sports but then I found the Theater Conservatory
at my school and I fell in love with it. I now have an amazing theater family and even though
that's not what I want my major to be, I want to be able to do some of that on the side. Even
though I may not know what career I want to go into exactly, I want to be able to help improve
someone's life in any way I could. That might mean a nurse, or a physician's assistant or even a
physical therapist. Even through this goal is still a ways away from becoming my reality, I hope to be able to accomplish all these goals and I know I will if I set my mind to it.

My testimony is all about paths. This year has definitely been one of the hardest and most
stressful years everyone has ever dealt with. However this doesn’t mean everything has been
an accident. We are here on this earth for a reason whether we know that reason or not. We are
here until we fulfill our life's purpose and that might be sooner than others however we have to
remember this was our path and plan God created. Not everything is going to turn out the way
you want it but it will be the best thing for you at the end of your journey.  Allison Menlove - Monrovia Ward
