Ginger Daines - Arcadia Ward

It was the best of times, and the worst of times, this past year.  During this year of covid lockdown, I have

grown closer to my husband.  A person better like the spouse they are in lockdown with 24/7!  It made things bearable around home to share this experience with my husband.  Another positive is that after living in our home for 46 years, my Husband discovered we had a linen closet in our home when asked to find me a sheet.  When I first learned about the virus, my thoughts were focused on my family.  I felt if Larry or myself got the nasty virus and did not survive, I wanted our Grandchildren to know how unique and precious they are to us.  I wrote long letters to each Grandchild expressing our love and gratitude for them.  I told them what I thought their super-powers were, encouraged them to be kind, feel charity for others, have a sense of humor, to challenge themselves and to work hard.

I want to share that Jesus Christ loves us just the way we are.  He watches over everyone of us.  He so appreciates our grateful hearts for all He has lovingly done for us.  We have all the ingredients for a better life if we just follow His example.  I have a testimony of Relief Society   I have been ministered to by loving sisters in our ward over the years.  They are my angels.  Let us remember that the Savior has said, “Come follow me, and do as ye see me do.”  Ginger Daines - Arcadia Ward
