This is the pattern for the zippered first aid kit pouch. The dimensions are the same for both kits. With the patterns below the blue is for the pieced cross and the red and white is for the cross stitch cross.

| Cut fabric 5 1/2 inches x 7 1/2 inches for the back piece of the pouch |

| Use the pieced cross from the pattern on this website and then cute two pieces that are 2 5/8" and 2 pieces that are 3 1/4" |
 |
| Sew them as pictured using a 1/4" seam allowance for all sewing of this project. |

| This completes the front panel |
 |
| Open the zipper and sew across the top of the zipper. |
 |
| Place the front pieced panel on the top side of the zipper and sew. |
 |
| Press seam away from zipper |
 |
| Place the right sides together of the back piece of the pouch on the other side of the zipper and sew |
 |
| Open and press. |
 |
| Pin pouch having the zipper pushed to the outside and the zipper open. Sew the three sides. |
 |
| Sew and trim corners. |
 |
| Turn and press. |
