My self-reliance experience was faith-promoting. There wasn't anything
in the class that I wasn't familiar with in the area of looking for a
job, but each week being reminded the Lord was on my side was helpful.
And we were all struggling, so the group became an incredible support.
We were all alert for positions for each other. It was part therapy,
part support group, and part spiritual inspiration. I'm grateful for
those I came to know - and feel as though we will all be life-long
friends
